‍ ‍About Me…

What started as a passion for helping people and a qualification that allowed me to combine work with travel, quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to understanding the human body. After working in England, Scotland and New Zealand, I returned to Bristol, UK to complete a degree in Anatomy & Physiology, before going on to earn a postgraduate teaching qualification. I later taught Anatomy & Physiology on the massage therapy programme where my own career began.

Following the birth of my two daughters and my own experiences of pregnancy and postnatal recovery, my focus shifted towards women's health. I established a specialist pregnancy and postnatal practice, combining massage therapy, exercise and education to support women through every stage of their perinatal journey.

Driven by a desire to provide truly comprehensive care, I returned to university once again to complete a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, followed by postgraduate training in pelvic health. This combination of hands-on experience and advanced clinical education allows me to deliver treatments that are both evidence-based and deeply restorative.

In 2024, my family and I fulfilled a long-held dream of returning to New Zealand and have now settled on the outskirts of Palmerston North. In addition to my role as a physiotherapist, I am excited to be launching Maternity Massage Manawatū.
