    Please note; the rest of the salon is closed on a Monday and therefore the front door may be locked if I am with a client. There is a café and shops next to the salon if you arrive early. I will welcome you in at your appointment time and thank you in advance for your understanding.

  • 60 minutes free street parking is available outside the salon.

  • Shortly after your appointment has been made you will receive an invoice via email containing Maternity Massage Manawatū account details.

    Full payment is required to secure your booking, which will be held for 48h.

    Appointment times are limited to Mondays at present. Taking payment at the time of booking allows me to manage the day accordingly, ensuring you have the time and attention you deserve.

  • To re-arrange an appointment or cancel and receive a full refund, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your appointment time.

    Refunds from cancelations under 48 hours may be provided in exceptional circumstances.

  • A health questionnaire will be emailed before your appointment. This helps ensure your treatment is safe, appropriate and tailored to your needs.

  • You do not have to be in the early postnatal phase (0-1 year). Scar therapy can be beneficial for many women years after the initial surgery.

    A full consultation will be carried out to determine if this is the right treatment for you.

  • Toilet, filtered drinking water and a small amount of space to bring a pushchair into the treatment room are available.

  • To avoid pregnancy related nausea associated with smells, unscented or lightly scented pregnancy-safe massage oils and balms are used during treatments.

  • In order to support reduced mobility, the wide electric massage couch, with optional warming pad, can be lowered to a suitable height at the beginning and end of your treatment.

  • In order to get the most out of your treatment, I recommend attending alone. However, if this is not possible you are very welcome to bring your baby into the treatment room.

    Please note; to comply with health & safety, your baby must remain securely strapped into their pushchair or car seat during the hands-on part of the appointment.

    In regards to older children, there is a comfortable chair in the treatment room where your little one can relax.
